Bukowski? You ain't (Except for the amount you claim to drink!!). Funny? I'm afraid to say you are. A friend gave me this after she'd read it, (she liked it by the way).
After what she had told me about it, I wanted to hate it, (a bloke who drinks too much gets dumped), but I couldn't. Considering the subject matter, I expected, well, I sort of knew what I expected, but I didn't expect the way you treated the whole episode. No bile, no vitriol, no want of slanderous revenge!!! From a man!!!
What am I trying to say? Ok, I liked it. And I really didn't want to. You wrote about the aftermath with a genuine compassion, (even though your grammar is pretty bad and some of the spelling slightly suspect.)
